About
Hi, I am Ben, the sole owner of The Investor Portal and The blog Of Ben Ang. I am currently pursuing professional studies in Chartered Market Technicians, which is accredited by the Market Technicians Association. Besides getting my accreditation for analyzing the markets, i am also pursuing my studies in Finance and Investment. I have 3 years of experience in trading forex and options online. Trading and investing requires a positive mindset, lots of reading. In fact, a willingness to keep learning is vital in improving the probabilities of trading. It is always good to keep up with the ever changing world by learning more through reading and updating. However, that is not all. In fact, learning and seeking knowledge is only the first step. To use the knowledge and execute it at the right and appropriate time is necessary for success. Everyone has to go through the initial stage of fear and uncertainty. Risk taking is absolutely necessary in trading and in fact in life. Different people react differently when faced with the same situation. So, to be totally clear of one’s abilities is of utmost importance here as I am not encouraging people to abandon their current jobs and start forex or options trading tomorrow. What i am saying is, especially for people who have been stuck in a rut and probably still are, that there is a whole wide world out there. So, get out and explore your options. Why choose to be stuck in a place where your potential abilities are not put to good use and you end up being unhappy and dissatisfied every single day?
I believe in the saying that “nothing ventured, nothing gained”. To be able to lead the life you want, there are things that have to be given up. It might seem hard to do so in the beginning, but it will all be worth it in the end. Life is all about choices we make. When we make decisions we have to be prepared for the effects of our decisions. Struggles and uncertainty are inevitable in our pursuit for what we believe we deserve than the present. All these emotional upheavals will be worth it when we start to see our fruits of labor.
Regards,
